Publication Schedule
“Systemy Logistyczne Wojsk” / “Military Logistics Systems” (SLW) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published twice a year. The journal publishes articles in regular issues according to a semi-annual publication schedule.
From 2026 onwards, the planned publication schedule is as follows:

Issue	Planned publication date
Issue 1	by 30 June of the given year
Issue 2	by 31 December of the given year

These dates refer to the publication of the complete issue on the journal website. The Editorial Office may publish an issue earlier if the editorial and production process is completed before the indicated date.

Manuscript Submission
Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year via the electronic submission system.
Submission of a manuscript before the planned publication date of a given issue does not guarantee publication in that issue. Assignment of an article to a specific issue depends on the completion of the full editorial procedure, originality check, peer review, author revisions, acceptance for publication and production process.
Articles that do not complete all required stages before the production work for a given issue is closed may be scheduled for the next available issue.

Thematic Issues and Special Sections
The Editorial Office may announce thematic issues or special sections. They are published within the regular SLW publication schedule and are subject to the same rules of editorial assessment, peer review, publication ethics, originality, licensing and acceptance for publication as all other articles.
Any additional deadlines for thematic issues or special sections are provided in a separate call or announcement.

Delays and Exceptional Circumstances
The Editorial Office and the Publisher make every effort to publish the journal in accordance with the declared schedule. In exceptional cases, such as technical, organisational, legal or other circumstances beyond the Editorial Office’s control, the publication date of an issue may change.
In the event of a significant delay, the Editorial Office will publish an appropriate notice on the journal website or inform the authors of articles scheduled for the relevant issue.

Published Issues
Information on published issues is available in the “Archive” section.
Each published article receives bibliographic details assigned to the relevant issue and, where applicable, an individual DOI identifier. The publication date of the article or issue should be visible in the article metadata or on the journal website.
