Open Access Policy

“Systemy Logistyczne Wojsk” / “Military Logistics Systems” (SLW) provides open access to published content on the principle that free and immediate access to research supports the development of science and the international exchange of knowledge.
Full-text articles published in SLW are available on the journal website immediately upon publication, with no embargo period, no registration requirement and no access charges for readers.

Archived issues published from 2015 onwards are available on the SLW website. Content made available on the journal website is provided in open access in accordance with the licence information indicated for the relevant article, issue, PDF file or publication metadata.
Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to and reuse full-text articles in accordance with the licence terms indicated for the relevant article.

All articles published in SLW from issue 1/2026 (Vol. 64) onwards are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). SLW does not apply alternative article-level licences to articles published in these issues.

The introduction of CC BY 4.0 does not retrospectively change the licensing of earlier publications. Archived articles previously published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) remain available under that licence.

Individual third-party materials incorporated into an article may have a different rights status. Any material not covered by the article’s licence must be clearly identified, together with the rightsholder and the legal basis for its use. Such exclusions apply only to the identified third-party materials and do not constitute an alternative licence for the article itself.
