CONTEMPORARY TRENDS IN THE LOGISCTICS MARKET IN THE UE

The purpose of this article is to present some aspects characterizing the contemporary trends of logistics services in the UE, resulting from a number of conditions affecting the development of logistics in the global economy. Determinants that influence the development of logistics in the global economy can be found among others: analysis of factors influencing the demand and supply of logistics services in the UE and their importance for the fulfillment of the objectives of logistics (e.g. serve customers), in the ranking of the largest companies involved in major logistics services in the UE.
