ABSTRACT
The article presents the basic conditions concerning the characteristics of logistic processes in a modern enterprise. The functionality of individual logistic links and their basic parameters are characterized. The functionality of these links has been integrated into the reliability structures that most often occur in the functional processes of an enterprise. All planning results were used to describe forecasting activities and to determine functional parameters of individual lo-gistics links. The article also considers the processes of the company's functional effectiveness assessed by means of system variants and ad hoc indicators. In the final part, attention was drawn to the need for using basic information from an IT system for managing exploitation processes. The aim of the article is to present the assessment of the reliability of means of trans-port by means of functions, reliability indicators. The specific objectives include the mapping of reliability structures of means of transport and the basic indicators of reliability functions and readiness of the analyzed equipment. The research problem includes the development of a sys-tem to analyze and evaluate the reliability processes of analyzed equipment. The following hy-pothesis has been put for verification in the paper: There is a possibility and need for the deve-lopment of a system enabling the analysis of the existing state and assessment of reliability func-tions and readiness indicators of analyzed equipment. In the study, a system analysis method has been used to address the issues of "how it is and how it should be", in addition, reliability functions and damage intensity functions have been applied in the assessment.
