This article aims to present issues related to health security management. The first section presents the issues related to proper risk assessment in health security management and the possibilities of its effective use. The second is devoted to the issue of quality management in health security management. In the third section, the author focused on the necessity of use creative forms in the management process. The conclusions highlight the importance of adequate health security management for the human population. The issue of security is increasingly considered in the civilization of the 21st century. Health, on the other hand, is one of the basic human needs and a factor that determines its existence and proper functioning. The correlation between the areas of health and security has led to the emergence of a new concept - health security. The need for proper management of health security is determined by its crucial role in ensuring the conditions for the survival and development of regions, states, local communities and individuals. Risk assessment in the area of health security and striving to implement models for assessing the quality of health services seem to be of key importance in the health security management process. New diseases such as COVID-19 appear at an unprecedented pace, which forces the search for unconventional solutions and a creative approach to emerging threats. Technological development provides researchers and those who are responsible for creating health security and maintaining it at the appropriate level with proper tools to achieve the expected goals.
