Open Access Policy, Copyright and Licence

 
“Systemy Logistyczne Wojsk” / “Military Logistics Systems” (SLW) provides open access to published content on the principle that free access to research supports the development of science and the international exchange of knowledge.

Full-text articles published in SLW are available immediately upon publication, with no embargo period, no registration requirement and no access charges for readers. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full texts of articles in accordance with the licence terms specified below.

Licence

Articles published in SLW are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), unless otherwise indicated for a specific item.
The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence allows users to copy, distribute, share and adapt articles, provided that:
  • appropriate credit is given to the authors, the source of publication, the DOI and the licence;
  • the use is non-commercial;
  • adaptations are distributed under the same or a compatible licence;
  • any changes made to the material are indicated;
  • no additional legal or technological restrictions are applied in a way that contradicts the licence terms.

Any use beyond the scope of the licence requires permission from the relevant rights holder(s).

Copyright and Author Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, authors retain copyright in their articles.

Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant the Publisher a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive and make the article available on the journal website, in indexing databases, scholarly repositories and other distribution channels related to SLW’s publishing activities.

Granting this licence to the Publisher does not restrict authors’ rights to further use their own article in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons licence and the self-archiving rules specified below.

Self-Archiving and Repositories

Authors may deposit the published version of the article, i.e. the Version of Record, in institutional, subject, national and international repositories, as well as on personal websites and scholarly profiles, immediately after publication and without an embargo period.

When depositing the article, authors should provide the full bibliographic reference, DOI, journal title and a link to the version published on the SLW website. The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence should also be indicated.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining any rights, permissions or licences required to use third-party materials in their articles, including photographs, maps, figures, diagrams, tables, charts, data, text excerpts and other copyright-protected materials.

If a specific item is not covered by the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence applied to the article, this must be clearly indicated in the caption, footnote or another appropriate place in the article.

Licence Information in Articles
Copyright and licence information should be visible in the full text of each article, in particular in the PDF version and, where applicable, in the HTML version and article metadata.
